She liked her son-in-law, Duffy (Raymond Lewis) but dislike quite strongly her other son-in-law, Richard Merrifield. She liked to play cards, bridge and whist. She would go to the whist parties. She died of cancer-?pancreatic in the Maine Medical Center- Portland, ME. She hated hot dogs but the day before she died she wanted two and ate both of them.
